John Joyce
Editor-In-Chief: John Joyce, our Commodore, is originally from Baldwin, New York and a long time Jacksonville resident. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and a published author. This year he promises to continue the elevated standards and high quality that the JU Navigator’s readership has come to expect.
Bryan Jones
Managing Editor: Bryan Jones, our Captain, is a junior from Port Republic, Maryland. He is a Communications major with a double concentration in Print Journalism and Advertising. His other on-campus activities include Dolphin Productions and Sigma Chi Fraternity, and he is a Student Ambassador, as well as a Career Peer Advisor and a Big Dolphin Mentor.
Andy Keller
Art Director: Andy Keller, our Rear Admiral, is an artistic Pisces that loves long walks on the beach at night. He is also savvy with technology, so he is embracing it! He is an transfer student working on his BFA Graphic Design degree. He is originally from Gainesville, FL… Home of the Gators! He has earned an AS Graphic Design degree from Santa Fe College. Currently a Senior and will finish in the Fall 2012.
Grace Singer
Photography Editor: Victoria (Grace) Singer, our Siren, is a Jacksonville native. She is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Marketing and Communications. After graduation, she plans to travel the world driven by an international marketing career.
Tina Kelso
News Editor: Christina (Tina) Kelso, our Lieutenant, is a Freshman communications major from Middleburg, FL. An aspiring photojournalist and novelist, she plans to specialize in print journalism. She is a member of the JU Honors Program and works part-time as an assistant in the Registrar’s Office.
Chelsea Brown
Business Manager: Chelsea Brown, our Pearl, is a senior from Kenosha, Wisconsin. She is an English major with a minor in Art History. Chelsea thoroughly enjoys her time on-campus and actively participates in several organizations. She is the historian for Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority and the secretary for the JU Student Alliance.
Ally Ulrey
Production Manager: Ally Ulrey, our Mermaid, is a Senior from sunny Fort Lauderdale majoring in Sociology with a minor in Communications. She loves the beach and boats but hopes to go to graduate school somewhere with all four seasons, particularly lots of snow.
Ethan Wellhausen
Features Editor: Ethan Wellhausen, our Cabin Boy , is a sophomore from Jacksonville, Florida. He is a communications major with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. He works at the Wurn Pool on campus as a lifeguard and for Wilma’s Little People School. He is also the Assistant Producer for the Dolphin Channel. He is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Lauren Tidwell
Copy Editor: Lauren Tidwell, our Cartographer, is a double major in English and in Art with a concentration in Photography. In addition to her position with the Navigator, she also is one of the assistant editors for the Aquarian, JU’s literary and arts magazine. Her passion is helping people through volunteer work. She plans to graduate in 2013 and travel the world.
Jacob Schuman
Distribution Manager: Jacob Schuman, our Cooky, is a junior music performance major at Jacksonville University for classical guitar. He is originally from Jacksonville, Florida and is a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity as their Historian and works part time as the guitarist for the JU pep band.
